Cherrywood Kitchen - Eco Luxury Signage

The Challenge

When Cherrywood Kitchen acquired their new premises, they needed the exterior sorting quickly. The grand opening date was locked in, the interior was coming together beautifully, but outside? The existing fascia and projecting signs were deteriorating, tired and had the previous occupiers' branding.

Most businesses in this situation would strip everything out and start again.

At Signs Express Southampton, we saw an opportunity to do something smarter and greener!

Our Approach

Rather than manufacturing brand-new signage, we inspected the signs and determined that they were fit for a refurb!

We carefully removed the existing main fascia trays along with the two projecting signs, returned them to our workshop, where the team carefully stripped the old branding, and fully restored the panels.

By reusing the original framework, we prevented large metal trays from going to landfill, reduced material waste, avoided unnecessary remanufacturing and delivered a more sustainable solution, without compromising on impact.

Once prepped, the transformation began.

The Transformation

We wrapped the faces and returns in a sleek, matt dark grey, instantly modernising the frontage and creating a strong, contemporary base. On top of this, we installed beautiful gold acrylic lettering and a flat-cut logo detail. The contrast between the deep matt grey and the gold gives the signage a premium, high-end finish that perfectly reflects the quality of Cherrywood Kitchen’s offering.

The projecting signs were brought back to life in the same finish, creating a cohesive look from every angle, no hint of the dilapidated trays that were there before.

To complete the refresh, we installed new window graphics, tying the whole frontage together and strengthening the brand presence ahead of launch day.

The Result

All of this was delivered within a tight turnaround to ensure everything was installed and looking flawless in time for the grand opening.

What was once deteriorated and dated is now bold, refined and built to last - proof that sustainable refurbishment can deliver just as much wow factor as starting from scratch.
