The Sky's the Limit
The Challenge:
To mark its global presence, Turkish Airlines commissioned a large-scale branded installation at Heathrow Airport. The centrepiece was a 6.5m diameter globe, suspended on a 7.5t steel plinth, which needed to feature precise graphics representing longitude and latitude lines. The project also required branded Boeing 777 models and illuminated lettering showcasing destinations.
Our Solution:
Working with Fab Media, Signs Express Basildon applied detailed graphics to 16 giant globe segments, ensuring all lines aligned perfectly once assembled. Additional elements included five 2m model planes, illuminated destination lettering, and large advertising hoardings to complete the installation.
The Result:

Rebrand Success for Jetex & JETMS
The Challenge:
Long-term client Hangar 510 required new branding for tenants Jetex and JETMS, including large illuminated signage and interior wall graphics. The project needed to balance scale, precision and safety, with installation taking place on exterior cladding at height.
Our Solution:

Installed three illuminated flex face signs (up to 9m x 2.5m) with powder-coated frames, vertical support bars and LED lighting for durability and visibility.

Applied printed wall graphics inside the hangar to reflect Jetex’s brand identity.

Used specialist access equipment, scaffolding, cherry pickers and scissor lifts to complete the installation safely and on time.

Harrods Aviation FBO Rebranding
The Challenge:
After acquiring Fayair, Harrods Aviation needed a full rebrand of its Stansted Airport site. The project required large-scale illuminated signage, precise brand replication, and complex installations at height within a busy airport environment, all while meeting strict health and safety standards.
Our Solution:
Over nine working days, Signs Express (Harlow) delivered a comprehensive signage package including:

Illumination for Arthur
The Challenge:
Having previously worked with Arthur Civil Engineering Ltd on vehicle graphics, branded stickers, and office window graphics, the client asked Signs Express (Leicester & Loughborough) to design new exterior illuminated signage for their head office.
Our Solution:
We created a black aluminium tray sign in line with brand guidelines, with the ‘A’ logo as the focal point in blue contrast. To enhance visibility and add a professional finish, the sign was fitted with back-lit halo illumination.
The Result:
The finished signage gave Arthur Civil Engineering’s head office a strong, professional presence. The client was delighted, praising the design, installation and quality as a standout addition to their site.
