Stars Gym
This one was a real pleasure to work on. Stars Gym in Battersea, a busy independent gym with a great reputation, wanted to give their building a fresh new look that matched the energy inside. They’ve got a big window frontage, so the signage had to make an impact without feeling over the top.

Client needs
We worked alongside Gary Ingram at Brand-ing Communications Ltd in Islington, who handled the creative direction. He had a clear idea of what the gym needed — something modern, simple and bold. Once the designs were agreed, our team at Signs Express (Harlow) took care of the rest.
Our approach
The job involved producing and fitting full-colour window graphics across 18 large panes of glass, each about 1400mm wide. We printed everything in-house to keep the colours consistent from panel to panel. To finish off the entrance, we added two tall vertical logo strips, roughly two metres high, on either side of the main doors. The lettering was reverse cut, so you get that clean, layered look when the light hits it.
Outcome
When it was done, the difference was huge. The gym’s frontage now looks smart and professional, and it really stands out on the street. It’s a good reminder of how much well-designed window graphics can change the feel of a place without major building work.
