Royal Haskoning

When Royal Haskoning opened their new building, they wanted signage that reflected the company’s professionalism and international reputation. We were asked to create a main external sign for the building facade along with a full set of internal door plaques and a commemorative plaque for the opening.

The goal was clear — a clean, modern look that matched the brand’s identity and attention to detail.

Materials and technologies used

For the exterior, we produced a set of built-up aluminium letters, each 750 mm high, spelling 'Royal Haskoning'. The letters had rims and returns, painted to Pantone 303c, and were fitted with 5mm acrylic faces and a fully enclosed back tray.

To make sure the sign stood out day and night, we used Twister LED internal lighting with an energy-saving programme that automatically switches on when it gets dark. The result is crisp, even illumination and minimal running cost.

Inside, we created a full set of door plaques using 5mm clear acrylic, mounted with 16mm satin wall studs for a clean floating effect. The lettering was printed in Pantone 303c, backed off in 5700 white, and precision-cut on our Fasttrack plotter. Each plaque was finished with M4-0F frost applied to the rear for a subtle, professional touch.

For the opening ceremony, we also produced a stainless-steel plaque (420 x 297 mm) mounted on a beechwood backboard, giving a smart and timeless finish.

The end Result

The new signage now gives the building a strong presence and perfectly represents the Royal Haskoning brand. The lighting system ensures visibility and elegance after dark, while the interior plaques tie everything together with a consistent style.

It was a project that required precision and planning — every detail had to match corporate colours exactly, and all work was completed ahead of the official opening.
