Cadbury Dairy Milk inspired project
When a brand as iconic as Cadbury Dairy Milk needs something bold and brilliant to help tell their story, attention to detail matters. That’s exactly why Hypernaked, a creative marketing agency working on behalf of Cadbury, turned to Signs Express Leeds for support on a one-of-a-kind promotional vehicle project.

Challenges and Solutions
The challenge? To create a striking promotional wrap for a restored Volkswagen Beetle, transforming it into a moving tribute to Cadbury’s legendary branding. The vehicle would be featured in a high-profile marketing campaign and needed to embody the instantly recognisable look and feel of Dairy Milk right down to its signature shade of purple.
Signs Express Leeds was commissioned to produce and install a high-quality full-colour wrap, applied to the bonnet of the vehicle using specialist wrapping film. The wrap needed to be flawless visually vibrant, brand-accurate, and applied with precision.
This wasn’t a job with a long lead time. Hypernaked needed a signage partner that could move quickly, maintain brand consistency, and still deliver on quality. Thanks to our new HP Latex printer, we were able to turn the job around quickly without compromising on finish or durability.
Collaborative Process
From the initial consultation through to printing and final application, our team in Leeds worked closely with Hypernaked to ensure everything stayed on brief and on schedule. The Beetle itself, a beautifully restored classic, was already a head-turner, but the wrap gave it that unmistakable Cadbury touch.
The famous purple vinyl finish was bold, bright and instantly recognisable, turning the vehicle into a promotional centrepiece worthy of the Cadbury name.
What really made this project stand out was the teamwork. On installation day, our Leeds centre became more than just a workspace. We turned it into a makeshift photo studio so the marketing team could capture the final look in a professional setting. We were happy to accommodate, making sure the client team felt welcomed and supported throughout.
