Our Work
Clarendon Shopping Centre
We’ve worked on plenty of city-centre projects before, but this one was a little different. Clarendon sits right in the middle of Oxford’s busiest shopping area, surrounded by tourists, students, and locals.
The developers wanted window graphics that did a few things at once — hide the construction work, promote the centre to future tenants, and keep the street looking inviting. So, we came up with a design that would celebrate the city itself.

Our Approach
Our designers started by sketching out a skyline that included some of Oxford’s most recognisable buildings — the Radcliffe Camera, the Sheldonian Theatre, and the city’s famous spires.
The final design felt bright and full of character without being too busy. It was something people could instantly recognise as “Oxford.”
We printed the designs onto high-quality vinyl, using full-colour digital printing to capture every detail. Once installed, the graphics completely changed the look of the shopfronts. They were vibrant, modern, and very local — exactly what Clarendon needed while building work continued.

Project Highlights
At first, the main goal was to hide ongoing work — and even a two-week archaeological dig that uncovered remains from a 17th-century building. But the finished display did far more than that.
Within days, we noticed people stopping to take photos in front of the windows. Tourists were posing with the skyline, and it became a bit of a feature in its own right. It’s always nice to see your work get that kind of reaction.
For Clarendon, it turned what could’ve been a disruptive period into a marketing opportunity. The graphics promoted the centre’s upcoming redevelopment, kept the site looking professional, and brought a bit of colour to the street.

Instillation and materials used
The installation took careful planning. With so many windows and curved glass panels, every section had to line up perfectly. Our team worked early and late to get it all done before the main construction started.
We used a weather-resistant vinyl designed to hold up in outdoor conditions and maintain colour over time. Each section was precision cut and fitted on-site to match the curve of the windows.

The outcome
When you walk past the Clarendon Centre now, you’d never guess there’s construction behind those windows. The graphics give the impression of a living, breathing city scene, and they’ve done a great job of keeping the space lively while the work continues.
