Client Overview
The Trin is a valued community organisation that recently invested in a brand-new sports centre to support local health and wellbeing. As the building neared completion, The Trin approached Signs Express Grimsby to supply and install signage that would support wayfinding, reinforce their branding, and launch the opening of the facility.

Project Overview
The brief included three key signage elements:
- Directional signage at the front of the site to help visitors navigate the new grounds
- A main external logo sign for the new building
- An internal plaque commemorating the centre’s official opening
With the opening date approaching, timelines were tight and every stage had to be managed with care.
Our Solution
We supported The Trin from initial concept through to final installation. Our team handled all artwork layouts and visuals, which were sent over for client feedback and approval on the same day we visited the site. The signage solutions included:
- Aluminium composite post-mounted signs for entrance directions
- CNC router-cut aluminium composite letters with digitally printed face detail, fixed with locators, forming the main logo signage
- A laser-etched stainless-steel plaque installed indoors to celebrate the opening
All items were produced in-house using our CNC routers and full-colour printing technology, combined with the experience of our design, fabrication, and fitting teams.
Overcoming Challenges
The biggest challenge was timing. The signage had to be designed, manufactured, and installed in phases to keep pace with the building handover and the centre’s opening ceremony. We coordinated closely with the client to ensure everything was delivered and fitted as soon as it was ready.
