Project Overview
When RMS introduced its new branding, the next job was making sure the change was reflected across its Worcester site and vehicle graphics.
We’ve worked with Rotating Machinery Services (RMS) for many years, so we already knew the site, the existing signage and how the business operates. That meant we could quickly see where signs could be refreshed rather than replaced.
The project included updating signage across the premises and applying the new branding to one of the company’s vans.
About Rotating Machinery Services
Rotating Machinery Services provides specialist rotating machinery services from its Worcester premises, which also includes RMS TurboCare steam and compression services and its Steam Turbine Repair Centre.
Over the years, we’ve supported RMS with a range of signage and graphics, building a strong working relationship in the process.
When the company rebranded, it made sense to look at how the new identity could be introduced across both the site and its vehicle graphics.
A Rebrand Across Site and Vehicle
RMS wanted its new branding to feel consistent across the site without replacing signage that was still perfectly usable.
Manufacturing a completely new set of signs would have added unnecessary cost and waste, so we looked at what could be retained and repurposed.
That gave us a practical way to refresh the site while making the most of what RMS already had.
Refreshing Existing Signage
We carefully removed the existing signs from site and brought them back to our Worcester production centre.
The panels were then updated with the new RMS branding before being returned to site and professionally reinstalled.
This meant we could keep signage that was still in good condition while giving RMS the fresh look it needed.
The refreshed signage included external company branding, visitor and goods inward signage, reception signage and parking signs.
By reusing the existing panels, we were also able to reduce the amount of new material required while keeping costs, waste and disruption down.
Bringing the New Brand to the Road
The new branding was also applied to one of RMS’s vans.
RMS removed the old graphics themselves and prepared the vehicle ready for us.
We then supplied and installed the new graphics, including the updated RMS and TurboCare branding together with the company’s key contact information.
With the site signage and van graphics updated together, the new RMS branding now carries across both the premises and the road.
Signage and Graphics Supplied
The project included:
Refreshed external company signage
Fence-mounted site signage
Building-mounted branding
Visitor and goods inward signage
Parking signage
Reception signage
Vehicle graphics
Each element was updated as part of the same rebrand, helping RMS present a more unified identity across the site.
A Fresh, Consistent Result
The completed project gave Rotating Machinery Services a refreshed visual identity across its premises and vehicle.
Visitors arriving at the site now see the updated branding across the main company signage, directional signs, parking signs and reception signage.
Much of that was achieved by reusing the signage RMS already had in place.
By repurposing the existing panels where possible, we helped reduce the need for new materials while keeping the project practical and cost-effective.
Built on a Long-Standing Relationship
Having worked with RMS for a number of years, it was great to support the business again as it moved into its new brand identity.
Because we already knew the site and much of the existing signage, we could quickly identify what could be retained and what needed updating.
That familiarity helped keep the project straightforward and allowed us to focus on the areas where the refresh would make the biggest difference.
The finished signage and vehicle graphics now give RMS a consistent appearance across the site and on the road, while making good use of the materials that were already in place.
Planning Your Own Rebrand?
If your business is rebranding, it doesn’t always mean starting again with every sign.
Existing signage can sometimes be refreshed or repurposed, depending on its condition and suitability.
Signs Express Worcester can review what you already have and advise on the best approach for your premises, vehicles and wider brand refresh.
