Signs Express (Enfield) brand Kelly Group National Training Centre in Enfield

Having recently re-branded both exterior and internal signage at Kelly Group premises in Enfield, Signs Express (Enfield) were approached for signage and interior design ideas to brand the new National Training Centre being developed on the Brimsdown site. As a state-of-the-art facility and a showcase for the group, it was important the signage and interior specification reflected the heritage and branding of the company.

In keeping with the roadside exterior signs completed less than a year previously, face lit built up lettering and logo in the distinctive 'Kelly blue' colour, were installed at high level by our IPAF qualified install team, this time to span 7.5 metres. To the left of this, on the actual training centre building, we installed complimenting face illuminated stainless steel lettering "National Training Centre" this time powder coated white. Turning to the building interior, design ideas were discussed based around feature walls depicting Kelly Group engineers at work and additionally highlighting the curved staircase with the timeline of the group. To create a welcoming yet impressive entrance for the trainees, the ground floor 'Welcome' wall has a one-piece digitally printed wallpaper installed that also incorporates a halo lit Kelly Group logo.

The first-floor landing wall was also chosen as a feature wall, this time a one-piece wallpaper spanning 7.5 metres being installed. The most challenging installation was that of the timeline wallpaper as this was to fit in two pieces around a curved stairwell wall with an overall drop of 6 metres. As can be seen from the attached images this proved a tight fit for the required access equipment! Further finishing touches within the training rooms include wall mounted acrylic lettering fitted on stand-off locator fixings for each room name, vinyl graphics applied to internal walls depicting company core values, and interchangeable slider systems for all workstations allowing the relevant training course details to be displayed.

I requested to change a couple of bits and very quickly we had designed exactly what I was looking for. I proof checked it and got booked in for fitting. I dropped the van off in the morning and it was ready for collection in the afternoon, looking exactly how I wanted it. I highly recommend signs express, the whole process was excellent.
