Celebrations after completion of charity bike challenge

Embarking on his first ever cycle challenge Signs Express (Falkirk) centre owner, Steve McMurray took part on a 68 mile bike ride, competing in the Sportive Kinross 2014. With a total ascent of 2840 feet, the event took place on 26th April and Steve completed the challenge in 4hrs 49min cycling time.

Steve wanted to cycle the route as his own personal challenge but also raise much needed funds for CHAS (Children's Hospice Association Scotland). He has raised an amazing £1310 so far – to donate please visit www.justgiving.com/steve-mcmurray CHAS is a charity that provides hospice services in Scotland for children and young people who have life-shortening conditions for which there is no known cure. CHAS currently runs two children's hospices, Rachel House in Kinross and Robin House in Balloch. Steve McMurray said, 'My good friend Trevor said one day, lets cycle from Inverness to Dunblane. Typical me, I agreed first and panicked about it later. Needless to say I'm now hooked on cycling.
