Signs Express (Bath) takes part in Make it Happen course at Sign Fab HQ.

The course goes through everything signage, from simple fixings, ,to the installation processes. It covers everything a sign maker needs to know about exterior signs, interior signs, shop from signs and office signs to name a few! The course also involves a tour of the Sign Fab Uk factory, allowing a peek into the manufacturing process. This was particularly interesting as it highlighted just how bespoke the signage industry is. Many of the products are still hand-crafted and bent manually, rather than by machines. They are also sprayed many times to create the perfect colour. This all adds to the quality of signs that are created here. “Holding the programme at SignFab (UK) Ltd allows us to demonstrate first-hand the full processes all under one roof. This allows the delegates to see first hand why for example a built up letter has a certain cost, as we see how its been hand fabricated, with the miniature ovens and irons...'' A new product that stood out was a biodegradable and FSC certified board, ideal for hording and advertising signs. It is completely biodegradable and can be recycled with standard household cardboard. This is ideal for many of our customers who need short term signage without the waste.
