Signs Express (Farnborough) has recently completed new signs for Tomlinscote School & Sixth Form College, based in Frimley, Surrey.
Tomlinscote School were looking to replace the worn and out-dated main building signage at their campus on Tomlinscote Way. In 2011, Signs Express (Farnborough) had provided eye-catching signs at the main entrance to the campus and so were called on again by the school. In submitting sign options to meet the school's design brief, Signs Express (Farnborough) competed against a number of signage companies in the area. Following contract award, the Signs Express team set to work and fitted the signs without a hitch. Alan Poole, School Business Manager commented: "New signage to the school main building was essential to replace worn and out-dated signs that no longer reflected the identity and ethos of the school and sixth form. From previous sign work we knew and trusted Tim and his staff at Signs Express (Farnborough) who provided the right signs on time and on-budget. They completed the work during the school holidays in-time for pupils and parents to see them on GCSE-results day. We really appreciated the design advice and flexible approach of the Signs Express team and their professional approach to the project." Signs Express (Farnborough) specified flat cut stainless steel letters along with the school's emblem which were fixed to the building's entrance, creating a prestigious look to the front of the school. Owner Tim Burt said, 'The new signs at Tomlinscote School & Sixth Form Centre are a great example of how changes to signs and graphics can impact a premises' appearance. We were delighted to be involved in the project and hope to work with them again soon.'
