Taking flight with Jetex

Jetex is an award-winning global leader in executive aviation, recognized for delivering flexible, best-in-class trip support solutions to customers worldwide. Jetex provides exceptional private terminals (FBO – Fixed Base Operation), aircraft fuelling, ground handling and global trip planning. The company caters to both owners and operators of business jets for corporate, commercial and personal air travel. Jetex has now invested in their first UK based FBO at Biggin Hill airport – their 35^th international FBO location.

Signs Express Sheffield has provided signage and graphics to all of the previous occupiers of Building 510 since it was first built in 2010 and we are delighted to have been asked to continue to provide signage and graphic solutions for the new occupiers, Jetex.

The is to take place in two phases – the first being to quickly brand the internal areas and provide some brand presence on some of the external areas. The second phase will be to design and install large illuminated signage on both of the main building elevations, to take place later in the year.

The Gatehouse

The front of the Gate House is fitted with a folded aluminium tray with printed gloss vinyl, CNC cut details with push through acrylic and internally illuminated by white LEDs.

The sides of the Gate House are fitted with aluminium composite panels with CNC cut outs for the vents and wrapped with printed gloss vinyl.

The Glass Walkway

The glass walkway gives guests an aerial view of the hangar activities. It is over 100 metres long and includes changes in gradient along its length. The glazed panels have been fitted with printed and laminated vinyl comprising a reverse print to be viewed from the hangar through the glazed panels and a gloss laminated print to be viewed by the guests on the walkway.

Internal Hanger Wall

Jetex branding has been added to the internal hangar wall using printed and gloss laminated vinyl 8000mm x 2680mm.

External Landside Cladding

Temporary Jetex branding has been added to the external cladding using printed and gloss laminated vinyl 5950mm x 2000mm. This will be replaced by permanent built up illuminated signage as part of phase 2.

Plinth & Column Sign

This built-up JETEX logo 1500mm x 500mm x 100mm has been manufactured from polished stainless steel with mirror-polished faces and mounted on polished stainless steel legs mounted in the vehicle roundabout. The logo stands next to a stainless steel column that has been wrapped with printed and gloss laminated vinyl and together, the plinth and the column create a strikingly noticeable centrepiece for guests arriving during the day and night.

Office Signage

2 wall mounted Jetex logos have been installed to the front of two reception desks. They are machined from 20mm opal acrylic with routed sections containing potted white LEDs and finished with electroplated mirror polished stainless steel to the face.
