Signs Express (Central Lancashire) were delighted to be commissioned to provide a striking feature at the newly refurbished Shackleton Hall.

Nelson based Barnfield Construction have recently completed the £2million regeneration of Shackleton Hall in Colne. Transforming one of Nelsons most historically significant buildings from it’s once dilapidated state and returning it to it’s former glory creating a new home for Housing Pendle and eleven unique retail units.

Part of the works was to create an interesting and significant montage, which was to form the backdrop to the glass cabinet installed within the building. Signs Express (Central Lancashire) created this by scanning in vintage photographs of the building and the Colne area and printing them on to Phototex wallpaper, which was applied on site.

Marketing Manager Charlotte Rice commented; “Barnfield needed a feature wall which complimented the heritage which was successfully retained within the building and Signs Express (Central Lancashire) designed this perfectly from an exacting brief. Thank you. “
